Expert Medical Oversight

At AccuCare Event Medical, we are proud to be guided by an experienced and highly qualified medical leadership team. Our Medical Director, Dr. Justin Rapoff, brings extensive expertise in emergency medicine and field EMS. He currently oversees more than 27 ambulance and fire districts across the Greater St. Louis region, supporting over 1,200 paramedics and firefighters. He plays an active role at our sporting events, working alongside our Chief Medical Officer, Kendall Shrum, EMT-P and Community Paramedic, to ensure the highest standards of medical care.

Dr. Rapoff is joined by Shirley Gastler, EMT-P, a seasoned paramedic with a background at the Bureau of EMS. Her deep knowledge of field EMS operations and Missouri regulations further enhances our ability to provide exceptional first aid and emergency medical services.

Committed to maintaining the highest level of care, Dr. Rapoff holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Licensed in both Missouri and Illinois, he annually develops and updates our comprehensive medical protocols.

Working in collaboration with Chief Medical Officer Kendall Shrum, EMT-P, Dr. Rapoff ensures compliance with all medical standards. This includes maintaining accurate medical records, verifying licensures for all personnel, and upholding our established protocols. Under their leadership, our team of Advanced Cardiac Life Support-certified registered nurses, emergency medical technicians-paramedics (EMT-Ps), and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) deliver reliable, high-quality medical support at every event.
